Garlic

The warm aroma of Garlic cooking is something almost irresistible…until you smell like garlic after eating it! This root vegetable is a friend to almost any meal, giving a strong delicious flavor. Saute garlic in a little olive oil before starting your marinara sauce or use it as a base for pan frying fish or other meat. Garlic can be roasted easily in the oven for smooth and soft garlic goodness, great for breads, crackers, or eaten by itself. My favorite garlic recipe has to be Roasted Garlic Crab and Garlic noodles, nothing gets better than garlic, butter, crab, and pasta!

 Do perfect mashed potatoes exist? Many times I had thought that they were here, in my kitchen, ready to be eaten, only to find that they were less than worthy to be called perfect.

Plus, there are so many types of mashed potatoes, everyone has different preferences. Skin on, w/out skin, chunky or smooth, garlic or creamy. I am sure there are a lot more types. For me, I love a smooth creamy mashed potato. You can throw some garlic in there if you’d like.

This easy recipe is as good as Garlic Mashed Potatoes get. It is the perfect accompaniment to any dish and really tastes delicious!

Delicious Rating: Home cooks can master a great mashed potato recipe, so this is for you! The garlic flavor is not too strong nor too mild but just enough so as not to overwhelm the meal. Garlic Crab Pasta

I know that I just posted up some crab pasta. I know that I sometimes add way too much butter to recipes. I know that this may be the single best thing that I have ever eaten in my life. And yes, I know I say that about a lot of different dishes.

This Garlic Crab Pasta is an easy recipe and is a divine combination. We already know that Butter and Garlic are good friends. But Crab cannot get enough of Butter. Throw in Pasta, who gets along with everybody, and you have a freakishly delicious thing happening!

Delicious Rating: Simple & Delicious. ‘Nuf said.

Vegan Farmhouse Vegetable Soup

Soup is a regular staple in my home. I try to make one pot of soup every week or two. Cooking soup is an easy way to finish up any loose veggies you have that may go bad soon. It can be super healthy and tasty at the same time by incorporating the right herbs and spices to bring out the best flavor. I love this Vegan Farmhouse Vegetable Soup Recipe. It is so colorful and chock full of protein and fiber with the additional beans.

Delicious Rating: A Home Cook can masterfully cook up this soup. Nothing to it. Adjust the seasonings to your liking and it would even be delicious with some Cayenne to add a Spice factor! If you don’t have all the veggies or have others I am sure that any vegetable can substitute or be added in, no problem at all. Make this easy recipe on a cold night to fill the house with warm deliciousness!

San Francisco’s Thanh Long – Roasted Garlic Crab & Garlic Noodles

“Featuring the World-famous Roast Crab.” Yummy! I love dungeness crab! The first submission for ‘Restaurant Month’ is San Francisco’s hidden gem Thanh Long. Thanh Long’s Garlic Roasted Crab is delicious. Drenched in butter, infused with garlic, and sprinkled with cracked pepper…what more could you ask for?! The An family definitely knows what they are doing in the kitchen. And don’t get me started on the garlic noodles! After awhile DH and I couldn’t afford regular visits to Thanh Long so we decided to take things into our own hands. Buy live dungeness crab from the Asian market, noodles, a whole lot of garlic and butter and soon you will be dining on a feast. This becomes an easy recipe after a few times of mastering it.
