Who can resist the smell of Bacon? I surely cannot! Growing up, my dad would fry bacon almost every morning. That fatty smoked sweet aroma would drift into my bedroom waking me up happy. I like my bacon cooked with some crisp to it. Other enjoy a soft chewy bacon. If you don’t like the whole frying aspect of bacon, you can always bake it or even microwave it! This cuts out a lot of the grease. But Bacon is not just limited to a breakfast meat. Check out these delicious Bacon recipes that include: salads, beans, and sandwiches.

Cheesy, creamy, with bacon and a little bit of spice…what I wish every meal could be. Loaded Potato Skins or potato boats, as some like to call them, are the ultimate appetizer. It is a mini version of meat and potatoes but loaded with cheese. Who doesn’t want that before the actual meal? The only thing I hate about ordering potato skins from restaurants is that there is never enough bacon, or cheese, or filling. I have had some sad potato skins, I still ate them…but they were definitely sad. The only way to lift my spirits and gain a few extra pounds was to make an easy recipe that had enough bacon and cheese to make anybody smile.

Delicious Rating: OMGoodness! I didn’t want to share these at all. The first mistake when cooking something super delicious: cooking for other people. DH and I could have devoured the whole lot of these potato skins but instead shared them with company. Dang you company!

I think this recipe is perfect. Seriously. I overdid it on the cheese and the bacon so that there was no want. I used green onions for a more subtle onion taste but with some greenery. This is now my go to recipe for potato skins. I change the level of spice on the skins coating and the filling depending on my mood, as can you. Plus, this recipe is super easy and doesn’t require a lot of ingredients. Bake some up and let me know how they turned out for you!

Jalapeno Bacon Macaroni & Cheese

I am married with no kids. It is just us two, no parents, siblings, or crazed family members with nowhere to go. Just us. But yet I always, like no fail, always make a 9×13 baking dish of macaroni and cheese. I mean, way too much for two people. I am trying to figure out why I can’t use a smaller baking dish. I think it is my love for pasta. I always think I will need more. Then there is cheese…you can’t have enough of cheese, I mean come on! Butter needs no explanation and as for anything spicy or made with bacon, well, now I see why I can’t cut how much I bake nor eat!

In all seriousness though, I love macaroni and cheese. I get all excited about melty cheese. And this recipe has that melty cheese plus bacon with a kick of heat. YUM!

Delicious Rating: Once you go Jalapeno Bacon Macaroni and Cheese you never go back.  Each bite in this easy recipe leaves you wanting more. My DH and I loved it and nearly finished half the pan that night! You can control the spice with the amount of peppers you use and go crazy with the bacon if you want!

CRAB BLT

…On a french baguette…Seriously?! Okay, in no way am I saying I am some bomb chef because I know I am very limited in the kitchen. However, this sandwich, this delicious concoction that once inside your mouth makes time stand still, yes this Crab BLT was literally the best thing I have ever ate in my life, and I have eaten a lot of good food.

Here is the rundown: French baguette lightly toasted in 300 oven. Lump crab lightly mixed in mayo, mustard, and cracked pepper. 4 strips of bacon. Lettuce & Tomato. An easy recipe right?

Delicious Rating: No cooking skills required to make this absolutely Delicious Sandwich. Seriously, simply delicious is what it is rated!
