Jordanian
Tabbouleh, Hummus, and Baba Ghanoush are just a few of the many food recipes of Jordan. Jordanian cuisine is influenced by many Mediterranean countries and vice-versa. When I was in Jordan we ate a variety of food, including fresh lamb. Naan like bread was served with every meal with fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and hummus. The flavors were mild but very aromatic. There were plenty of restaurants around but I didn’t see a lot of street food. Boiled eggs are a must for breakfast with bread and jam, simple and very easy meals to prepare and eat.
