Italian

Pasta, Pizza, Polenta, Potatoes…and the list for Italian Food is endless. Using simple recipes and high quality ingredients, Italian Food Recipes are delicious and a must in any home. I make homemade personal pizzas often and top with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes. My homemade marinara sauce is one of my favorite Italian dishes and I am new at cooking polenta but I am enjoying it very much! Pesto pasta is also a favorite Italian dish in our home, my mouth waters when preparing pesto, when it is on hot pasta. What is your favorite Italian dish to prepare and eat?

Creamy White Chicken & Artichoke Lasagna

Creamy. Cheesy. Pasta. Chicken. Basil. Artichoke Hearts. Sun Dried Tomatoes.
What more could you want in a meal? This Lasagna is delicious, I mean, hands-down-ready-to-eat-the-whole-pan-by-myself-delicious. Plus it doesn’t require a lot of ingredients or steps which makes it an easy recipe for any day of the week.

I have always shied away from making lasagna. I remember my first attempt was a runny mess when cut into. My next few weren’t that great either. But with enough time and practice I look forward to a Lasagna night at home.

Delicious Rating: Did I mention this lasagna is delicious? Since my DH and I already love artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes, we are in love with this recipe. The cream cheese sauce is super creamy and doesn’t give you the ‘runny’ lasagna that sometimes happens. This is a perfect recipe with salad and some Soft & Crusty Bread. Plus, if you are stuck in a rut with traditional lasagna this is a great way to change things up. Leave a comment and let me know how it turns out for you.

Avocado Broccoli Linguine

What color is California? I know that might seem like an odd question, but humor me, if you had to choose a color for California what would it be? I was thinking green, a creamy light green that is beautiful when the sun hits it. An avocado green perhaps. This pasta is definitely California. The greens from the spinach, broccoli, and avocado give it beautiful color when the sun hits it. This recipe is super easy, relaxed, laid back, perfect anytime of day or year. It is full of flavor, fun to eat, and yet surprising, never boring or dull. This pasta is definitely California.

Delicious Rating: Okay, so maybe I am bias being from California or maybe it is really that great! If you love Cali then you will definitely love this pasta. It is packed with garlic and a light olive oil sauce that is balanced with all the veggies in this vegan recipe. Broccoli and Spinach and Avocado, can someone say “Yum” please?! This is one of those easy recipes that cook up in 20-30 minutes and you are never left with leftovers. Please try this and let me know what you think!

Parsley Parmesan Lemon Pasta

Simple and easy recipes are my type of thing, especially after a long day of activities. And there is nothing better than a good bowl of pasta at the end of the day. Or for breakfast…or for lunch too! I think I just love pasta and this recipe is on top of my list!

Delicious Rating: This pasta is light and refreshing. Almost all of the ingredients you probably have right now in your kitchen. Just throw it all together and voila! You have got yourself a complete meal, just add a side salad and maybe some bread and you are good to go. You can even add more veggies or herbs so let me know your favorite toss up pasta.

Chicken Parmigiana

Who can resist pasta, meat, sauce, and cheese? I know I can’t and that is why I love a good Chicken Parmigiana. There are many ways to make Chicken Parmigiana and some recipes call for the frying method. If I don’t have to fry I won’t. This is a baked recipe and works out great to cut some fat and I can also prepare a salad or the pasta while the chicken is baking. Which makes it an easy recipe for me and my kitchen!

Delicious Rating: Great dinner for any day of the week. It is simple enough for kids but loaded with flavor for adults. I used my Homemade Marinara Sauce recipe for this but you can use your favorite red pasta sauce too. Serve with a salad and bread for a complete meal.
