Ingredients
  • 1¾ cups vital wheat gluten
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper
  • 1½ cups vegetable stock
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
Instructions
  1. Combine wheat gluten, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and lemon pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Add in vegetable stock, soy sauce, and olive oil.
  3. Make into a dough and knead for 2 minutes.
  4. Divide into 4 even pieces.
  5. In a large pan, add onion, garlic, soy sauce, and 8 cups of water.
  6. Add in seitan pieces and let simmer for 1 hours.
  7. Use immediately or store in fridge in the broth.
